roads that twist and turn through the Pisgah National
Forest and alongside the Toe, Nolichucky, and Cane
Rivers, crossing such national wonders as the elegant
Spivey Falls, and offering quaint pit-stops at several
secluded mountain towns. One of the most exciting
motorcycle rides in North Carolina, the Burnsville Loop
takes you down tucked-away back roads that don’t see the
abuse of heavy traffic. The ride was featured in the
publication Motorcycle Adventures 2: Adventures in the
Southern Appalachians, which lauded the Burnsville
Loop’s low traffic, tight turns, and scenic views.
